Here is a Lionel 250E Vintage O Prewar Hiawatha Passenger Set - Restored from 1936. This was the top-of-the-line train for 1935 and 1937. It is pulled by a 250E 4-4-2 Streamlined Atlantic Steam Locomotive with a 12-Wheel Tender. There is a 13 1/4" long 782 Combine car, a 13 1/4" long 783 Coach and a 16" long 784 Observation car, and an 81/2" Tender. The set is articulated with wheeled vestibules joining the cars. The cars have frosted celluloid windows and vestibule latches.

This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-4: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item functioned when tested. This set has been repainted by the previous owner and done really well. There are minor nicks and some pitting visible under the paint. The window strips are not original. Several of the drawbar connecting pins are missing. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Restored - Very Good.
