This is a Micro-Trains 51800042 Z Scale American Refrigerator Transit Co. 40' Wood Reefer with Vertical Brake Wheel #22789. This 40’ wood sheathed reefer is painted brown with reefer yellow sides and brown door kick panels. The sides are lettered in black with white end lettering. It bears the red, white and blue ART shield logo; the red, white and blue Wabash ‘Follow the Flag’ logo; and the red and white Missouri Pacific buzz saw logo. It has an unknown built date but was serviced in June 1950 and runs on Bettendorf trucks. The American Refrigerator Transit Company was a St. Louis, MO-based private refrigerator car line established in 1881 by the Missouri Pacific and Wabash railroads. It is now a subsidiary of the Union Pacific Corporation.
