Marx & Kusan Assorted Diesel Locomotives: Southern Pacific & New Haven [5] VG
This lot consists of a Marx 6000 Southern Pacific Tinplate AA Diesel Locomotive Set, a Kusan 2716 New Haven Alco AA Diesel Locomotive Set, and a Custom Painted New Haven Diesel B Unit. These diesels feature tinplate and plastic construction, metal wheels and axles, with hook and knuckle couplers.
These items have been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. These diesels show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. There is also rust and corrosion throughout various sections of the chassis, wheels and trucks. The previous owner used a diesel B unit from another set and custom painted it to put it together with the Kusan set. There are a few pieces missing and broken. The overall appearance of each item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The powered Marx diesel was tested and functioned but the powered Kusan diesel couldn't be tested as the components to make it run have been taken out of the unit.
