The locomotive features an operating headlight, smoke stack, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels and exquisite detail. The 2 freight cars feature tinplate construction, tinplate trucks, latch type couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. Some of the cars have chips of paint missing with noticeable one being present on the caboose. The wheels of all of the cars and on the locomotive show average run-time. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is included.
