This is a Lionel 736 Vintage O 2-8-4 Berkshire Steam Locomotive from 1950-66. The 736 was a mainstay of Lionel's line for much of the Postwar Era and was included in numerous top of the line sets. Features include die-cast metal construction, a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, an operating smoke unit, a decorative bell, metal side rods, metal wheels and nice detail. This is the earlier version with the die-cast rear truck.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. The locomotive will bind up often when operating at lower speeds. There are grooves and pitting visible throughout various sections of the shell paint. This locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This locomotive shows rust on the chassis and trucks. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information.
