Here is a Lionel 614 Vintage O Alaska Railroad EMD NW-2 Diesel Switcher. The 614 Alaska EMD NW2 Yard Switcher was introduced by Lionel in 1959 and was sold for two years (through 1960). This unit is unique among all postwar Lionel engines because of the yellow Dynamic Brake Superstructure mounted on top of the motor cover in front of the cab. It is the only postwar diesel to ever include this realistic diesel accessory. This Locomotive features Magnetraction, a light, two non-operating couplers and a 2-position reversing unit (There is no neutral, just forward and reverse.), durable plastic shell, die-cast metal trucks, metal wheels and axles. It measures approximately 12" long. Please see my pictures for additional features.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The overall appearance of these items may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. This locomotive shows scratches, rust and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and axles. When tested this locomotive did not operate. It is being sold As-Is. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Overall condition is Very Good.
