This is a Lionel 6025 Black Gulf Single Dome Tank car from 1956-58. The 6025 was the final single dome tank car produced by Lionel in the postwar era. It has become the hardest single dome tank cars to locate within the short 8 inch tank car series. Interest, however, remains minimal by both collectors and operators. The 6025 was produced for three years. During this time, it was available in several different color and decal variations. Locating each variation will take some time and effort as some are hard to find. This tank car features die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The wheels show average run-time. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis.
