Here is a Lionel 6-8359 O Gauge Chessie System GM Gold GP7 Diesel Engine from 1974. This was the first Limited Edition item ever made by Lionel and was a tough item to find when it was released. The prototype was made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of GM‘s Electromotive business. Features include operating headlights, illuminated number boards, remote forward, neutral and reverse, finished in metallic gold with dark blue markings, a powerful pullmor motor, self-centering knuckle couplers and it measures 14 inches long.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The wheels and rolling pickups show signs of average use. There are nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the shell and chassis. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning.
