This is a Lionel 6-32921 O Electric Coal Elevator Built Up #97. This is a reissue of the 97 Coal Loader from the 1940s with improved construction. When activated the chain moves the buckets up into the bin where they unload the coal. Another button is pushed, the bin gate opens and the coal is dropped into a waiting car.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This coal elevator shows scratches throughout various sections of the base and body. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is included. The original box is included.
