This is a Lionel 6-16614 O Gauge Reading Operating Cop and Hobo Boxcar from 1989. The Cop & Hobo Car enacts an exciting chase involving a railroad policeman and a hobo. As the car, with the hobo riding on top, passes under a trestle, a railroad cop who has been waiting on the trestle hops to the top of the car. At the same time, however, the hobo jumps off the car to the trestle. When the car passes the trestle again, the situation is reversed, the policeman jumps off and the hobo jumps back on.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis.
