The locomotive features die cast construction, smoke unit, motor, operating headlamp, metal side rods, metal wheels and axles. The freight cars feature plastic trucks, operating and fixed knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. The caboose, flat car, and gondola are not included.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. These items show scratches, dents, nicks, and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis.
