Here is a Lionel 455 Vintage O Operating Oil Derrick w/Red Top from 1950-54. It stands approximately 14 1/2 inches tall. Features include tin-plate construction. When you power this up the walking beam starts moving up and down simulating pumping oil from under your layout. There is also a glass tube with a brown liquid that bubbles simulating the oil coming up. It is a real Lionel classic and a favorite of many layouts. This is the early version of the 455 with the red top, which is sought after by collectors and much harder to find than the common green top version.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. There are light nicks, scratches, and spots of surface rust on the surface of this item. The Sunoco sign is also a a bit discolored and yellowed. Hook piece is also detached and included in the bag. The original box is included. The instruction manual is not included.
