This is a Lionel 455 Vintage O Operating Oil Derrick and Pumper from 1950-54. It stands approximately 14.5" inches tall. When you power this up the walking beam starts moving up and down simulating pumping oil from under your layout. There is also a glass tube with a brown liquid that bubbles simulating the oil coming up. It is a real Lionel classic and a favorite of many layouts.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. This item has not been tested and is being sold As-Is. This item shows heavy wear from age and previous use. There are nicks, scratches, areas of paint loss, and light rusting on the surface of the tower, base, and pump components. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a thorough cleaning. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included.
