This is a Lionel 2855 Vintage O Sunoco Black Semi-Scale Tank Car from 1946. The 2855 is much harder to find than the 2555 and only came in two sets during the Postwar Era. This car features die-cast closed metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. The 2855 was available in black only in 1946 [in 1947 the color changed to gray].

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. The brake -wheel piece is bent. This car shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This car shows rust on the chassis and trucks. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
