This is a Lionel 263W Tinplate Vanderbilt Tender with Whistle from the late 1930s. Features include a whistle, metal handrails, all tinplate construction, tinplate trucks with nickel journals, a solenoid coupler, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-2: Fair based on visual appearance. This item shows scratches, dents, and paint loss in various areas of the shell, detail pieces, and chassis. The rails on this item show slight bending, and the decal has started to yellow. This item has been repainted by the previous owner and pitting is still visible under the paint. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included.
