Here is a Lionel 2523 Vintage O President Garfield Gold Stripe Aluminum Pullman Car from the early 1960‘s. The car body is aluminum and it features gold foiled stripes. It is part of the prized postwar presidential sets in 1962 pulled by either a 2360 GG1 or 2383 Santa Fe. It also has die-cast trucks with operating couplers and an illuminated interior with passenger silhouetted windows and measures 15" inches long.
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. This car is in exceptional shape with minimal nicks and light scratches on the body. There are also only minor specks of surface rust on some of the axles.T he gold stripes have some spots of it peeling off. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
