This is a Lionel 2350 Vintage O New Haven EP-5 Powered Electric Locomotive from 1956-58. It comes equipped with a single motor, a reverse unit, operating knuckle couplers, headlights in each end, die-cast trucks, metal wheels and axles. This particular version (Type) of this locomotive has a white "N" & orange "H" with white "NEW HAVEN", but the nose decoration was done with an adhesive-backed nose trim decal rather than painted.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. This unit was tested and it does function. There is rust present on this unit. One of the pantographs is missing and the other is rusted. There are nicks and scratches on the body and underside of this unit. There is significant chipping and peeling of the paint on the body. There is significant dirt and grime buildup on this unit. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. The wheels and knuckle couplers show signs of wear.
