This is a Lionel 2046W Vintage O Pennsylvania Whistle Tender from 1950-53. This is the standard whistle tender from the postwar era for the better O Gauge steam locomotives and matches the 736, 681, 682, 665, and 2046 steam locomotives, among others. This tender features die-cast metal trucks, a die-cast metal operating knuckle coupler, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item has been tested and the whistle is functional. This tender shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This tender shows rust on the chassis and trucks. The wiring is very brittle and should be replaced.
