This is a Lionel 1656 Vintage O Lionel Lines 0-4-0 Steam Locomotive & 2403B Tender w/Bell from 1948-49. Since the locomotive is designed to haul only a few cars, it will look great working in any freight yard. Because of the high center of gravity of these steam switchers, it is quite common to find a switcher with one -- or both -- front marker lights damaged or missing. Additionally, the roof of the cab is often bent or damaged from high-speed derailments near a curve track! The locomotive features a motor, a reverse unit, an operating headlight, a smoke stack, a decorative bell, an operating knuckle coupler, metal side rods and metal wheels. The tender features an operating ringing bell that you can turn on and off, an operating coil knuckle coupler, an operating light, die-cast metal trucks, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the shell and chassis. The wheels show average run-time.
