This set includes a B&O 4-6-2 Pacific Steam Loco and a set of 5 70' Illuminated heavyweight passenger cars and over 20 feet of Real track. The heavy pacific was the most colorful of all steam engines built during the late 1920s and through the 1930s. American Models used the heavy USRA Pacific as their prototype which was used by most railroads of the time. Many had the large horizontal "feedwater heater" mounted just in front of the smokestack. The American Models features this and other details to match the prototype offered. The passenger cars have spots of rust on the underside of the chassis. The wheels show average use. The original box is included. The instruction manual is not included.
